Do you ever think some people just have it all? Looks, money, friends, personality, freedom... while the rest of us just convince ourselves to be just contented with what we have so that we can be truly happy.
People who don't really know me may think that "I have it all", while closer friends know that I'd rather be someone else or somewhere else and not have anything at all. I'm still young and there's so much more I wanna do yet I'm tied down by family obligations and watching my days crawl by. I don't wanna prove anybody anything. I feel like I've betrayed/fooled myself. Am I doing out of sympathy or filial piety I don't know. I am caught between.
I'm not really all that. People who know me know I just put on a strong front, but I'm really dying inside. It really sucks cos I am the one who always will do something about it, but now, I'm left hanging on behind the truck.
I want to elope.

Sometimes in life, we are unable to choose the path we would like to take. Take it like a unit posting after BMT. It's not really up to us, and there is just about nothing we can do about it except to fulfill our duty.
What you are doing now is not what you want to do. But we are to honour our father and mother. That is reason enough.

No kidding dude. I wish I had it all. Then again, we wouldn't be us if we had it all, would we? Road trips aren't as fun with Gucchi slippers and a Mercedes Benz. And IPods can't beat old-fashioned guitar sing-a-longs.
You won't always have everything. But sometimes if you look around you, you'll realize you have all you need.

No, but on a serious note, do treasure your studying days.. freedom, dropping everything down and dressing up for roadtrips, cooking a huge pot of Indo mee and fried eggs and couching with 4 million people to watch Naruto, waking up to find a full bag of Doritos beside you.... all these are priceless... also the fender strat in Allan's too
But really, crusing down Torquay with a Mercs convertible, sponsored with (ok, prolly not Gucci) slippers and blasting music from the Ipod wouldn't be as fun?
